David L. Jacobson


David Jacobson’s practice focuses on business litigation involving all aspects of contracts and tort liabilities, as well as the duties of principals in business organizations. He is also active in employment and estate disputes. In addition to litigating in the trial and appellate courts of Maryland, Mr. Jacobson has also litigated in federal court in Maryland and a number of other districts.

Mr. Jacobson has been with Blades & Rosenfeld since 1983 and is currently the Member-In-Charge of litigation.

In 1981, Mr. Jacobson graduated from Columbia Law School and one year earlier graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University. He completed both college and law school in five years and was admitted to the Maryland Bar and U.S. Federal Court in 1982.

Mr. Jacobson is a member of the Baltimore City, Maryland and American Bar Associations. He is involved with the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s Bench/Bar and Business Litigation Committees. In the community, Mr. Jacobson is active on the Board of Directors of his synagogue and community association.

Mr. Jacobson was born in Baltimore in 1958 and resides in the Roland Park section of the City with his wife Judith. They have two adult sons, Samuel and Jonathan.
